Delighted to be featured

Image
I cannot say how delighted I am to have my pastels featured on the PennyPaws website. https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/2023/11/28/the-beautiful-rescue-dog-art-of-lc/ Hoping so much that my art in some way can inspire people. The dogs are so beautiful and in need of love. A real honour to be able to draw them and hopefully help raise awareness of their plight

Happy Puppy

Image
What a sweet face this little puppy has. How wonderful to think she is on her way to the UK. What a joy to do a quick charcoal and pastel sketch of her after having had such an intensely painful, paralysed  week. I am enjoying working on coloured paper with black charcoal outline, rather than white pastel on black paper, for a change, in the moments I have any coordination. https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/

Working on an anniversary picture

To say our life is hard right now would be an understatement. I had grand hopes for our Pearl Wedding Anniversary. I can however barely get through the day at present with so much pain, blankness and paralysis. Nevertheless I want to celebrate in some special way. I hope to do a pastel  of us sharing a happy moment together. Today, despite limited ability to move  or think I have managed to draw a rough outline. It may be all I manage. It may take time an unknown amount of time to fill in colour. Nevertheless I am pleased with it andI think the joy of being together shines through it.
