A simple clematis

I love the simplicity of flowers, yet even so, they are a challenge to draw and capture their essence. I hope I have achieved this with this beautiful, simple, white flower.

NEW SONG VIDEO ‘ HER DANCING SHIRT

Image
HER DANCING SHURT, A NEW SONG It was a windy day, my green shirt on the line was dancing wildly in the Spring sunshine. I used to teach dance, I used to do cartwheels on the beach, I was always the first one on the floor to dance at a party, but all I could do was watch the crazy, wild dance moves my shirt was making as it was knocked hither and thither by the breeze, for my body was paralysed, my feet stuck to the floor, my whole body throbbing in agony. I wrote a poem about the so stark juxtaposition between my dancing shirt and my decades long immobility. This song, was composed by my husband, based on that poem, trying to express the sadness and yet the jauntiness of the shirt shifting about so freely lifts the music too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omgT_6QTAZY

Dolly

Image
Sweet Dolly was recently saved. She is only tiny and so beautiful. So many strands of fur were a real challenge to draw! It took quite a few weeks. Hoping so much someone sees how sweet she looks and wants to love her. You can find out more about this precious little dog here https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/2026/04/12/dolly/
