Longing to be able to hold a pastel and express my love of flowers but it is not possible at the moment. So I took some beautiful photos of flowers in my garden after rain, keeping hope alive.
Poor Freddy died in Romania before he could be fostered or adopted. He was an older dog and his sad end made us sorrowful. I felt he deserved to be remembered, so tried to draw an image of him. I wish we had been able to offer him a home. I wish he had felt loved and special. This is the best I can do to honour him. https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/2023/09/19/freddy/ https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/2024/10/17/rip-poor-little-freddy/
How wonderful that Pups and Paws CIC has raised money to donate to wards transport costs to help two dogs in Romania potentially travel to the UK. It was a joy to draw these images to help support the imitative. https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/woody-available-for-adoption/ Ginger is one of the Spice pups. https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/2024/11/28/the-spice-pups/ We are really hoping both dogs will find a foster or adoption home soon so that they can come to the UK to escape the bitter Romanian winter. See pups and paws website to see how they are supporting animal and bird charities: https://www.pupspawsprevention.com/
This beautiful dog was saved from immanent death in a kill shelter. She had no name. PennyPaws rescue asked for donations to help her and name her. We named her Mollie. What a wonderful privilege to name such a special dog. https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/2025/05/27/sponsor-a-pennypaws-dog-dog-of-the-day/
